Tento obraz jsem nosila asi měsíc v hlavě, jen tu velkou krabici jsem nemohla najít, až když jsem jednou ráno vedla Olivera do školy, kde stála složená u zdi na recepci, a tak jsem ji pak v dešti naskládala do auta a doma půl den sušila...:) Pak stačilo jen vyříznout okýnko a posadit do pokojíčku růžičku Natálku:)

This picture I was carrying in my head for about a month, I just had a problem with that big box, until one rainy morning I found it at the reception of Oliver's school...I dried it and made a little room from it by cutting the window so it was finally ready for my little rose Natty:)

Picassovo modré období miluju! I když je obraz celý v modré barvě, což je studená barva, která dokáže být mrazivá, Picassovi se podařilo ji díky zobrazení láskyplného pouta mezi matkou a dítětem zněžnit, a tak na mě působí velmi poeticky...

I really love Picasso's Blue period! Although the whole picture is in blue color, which is cold color, here I can feel the loving bond between the mother and child, so gentle, so poetical...

Maleviche jsem chtěla vyfotit už dávno. Připravila jsem si ramínko na černý top, který tak opticky rozšířil ramena tak, jako na obraze, ale nechtěla jsem Natálce začernit obličej, ani ho schovat za černou masku...až mě napadlo využít vařečku a pohrát si s papírem a lepenkou...
a tak vznikla tato figurka v zástěře řídící dopravu:)

I didn't want to black Natty's face out or to hide her with black mask and I did't know how to make her such a long neck so I used the wooden spoon afterwards and colored papers so Female Figure became more specific: Female Figure in Apron Managing the Traffic:)

Na origami holubici jsem opravdu pyšná, její výroba mi trvala skoro hodinu, alespoň jsem si tak krátila čas při čekání na výsledky prezidentských voleb... 

..." I'd always thought of Magritte as having an interesting and intriguing mind – the way he would turn things inside out or make that which was solid suddenly not solid. But suddenly here he was, this wonderfully dry joke teller. The work that really struck me that day was The Man in the Bowler Hat [1964]. He'd spent months painting a guy in a bowler hat and then, for his last brush strokes, paints a dove flying in front of the man's face. What's happened there could happen only in a photograph and he's done a painting of it. What a comedian! I thought he was so clever. If it wasn't for the ideas I wouldn't say he was a great painter because others have a better technique. But he does what he needs to do and does it so well. Přišel k nám na návtěvu můj bratr se svou přítelkyní, tak jsem toho hned využila, bratr fotil a ona stála na židli a držela deku před lampou tak, aby svítila přesně kolem mé hlavy.

Brother and his girlfriend came to visit us, so I took the chance to make this picture. He was taking pictures and she was standing on the chair holding the blanket in front of the lamp so it was shining just around my head.

Natálce jsem do džbánku nalila opravdu mléko, a tak jsem po skončení focení mohla rovnou upéct zemlbábu, protože namísto do mísy lila mléko přímo na pečivo...

All the bread was wet from milk that Natty poured from the jug, so I had to bake "zemlbaba" afterwards (Bread, milk, apples and raisins, eggs and sugar:))

Viky (byly mu právě dva týdny) mi připadal maličký jako králíček, že by se skoro vešel pod klobouk...
Abstraktní obrazy mám čím dál raději, baví mě k nim přistupovat podle nálady a vlastní představivosti a samozřejmě s ohledem na věk dítěte:)

Victor is too small, like a tiny bunny that could almost fit under the hat...
I like the abstract paintings more and more, I like to deal with them according to my mood and imagination and of course with regard to child's age:)

Něco jsem našla v kuchyni (sushi tyčinky), něco v obýváku (tyčky k orchidejím), v Oliverově pokoji (obruč a kolejnice pro vláčky a auta) a něco v naší šatně (plesové šaty, kterým je již více než 17 let (!) - třeba si v nich Náťa taky jednou zatančí...:)

Something I found in the kitchen (sushi sticks), something in the living room (orchid sticks), something in Oliver's room (rails for trains) and something in our dressing room (my ball gown, old more than 17 years (!) - Maybe Natty will dance in them someday as well...:)

Další večer strávený nad stříháním barevných papírů, té paní prodavačče v papírnictví už začínám být podezřelá....:) Nejsložitější moment byl, když jsem musela Natálku položit a přikrýt dečkou z krepového papíru tak, aby se papírky nezmačkaly a vydržely ve vertikální podobě...focení pak už bylo to nejjednodušší:)

The lady clerk in the office supply store has already started to get suspicious...Another night spent with the colored papers and scissors...:)

Namalovala jsem nový obraz, zatím největší, co jsem kdy namalovala. Pověsila ho na zeď v pracovně a večer si před spaním listovala v knize s Picassovými obrazy...a ráno už jsme s Oliverem fotili:)

I painted this painting, the largest I have ever painted. I hung it on the wall and that evening I was flipping through the book with Picasso paintings...and the morning after we were photo shooting with Oliver:)

Natálka dostala panenku, se kterou si hrála tak vehementně, že po měsíci byla bez hlavy, pak ji odpadla jedna ruka, pak noha....co s tím? Opravit už to bohužel nešlo, tak jsme ji zrecyklovali pro účely focení...:)

Přesně takový máme chodník před domem. Já jsem se ale nakonec vzhledem k počasí a pohodlí rozhodla pro domácí focení, a tak jsem strávila zase jeden večer s nůžkami a fixami v ruce....:)

We have exactly the same sidewalk in front of the house, but due to weather and comfort I rather chose the home variant. Another evening spent with scissors and papers...

Vrátili jsem se právě z Londýna, odkud pochází i nejznámější graffiti umělec Banksy. Olivera jsem poprosila, aby skočil koupit balónek, nejlépe červené srdce, přinesl tři červené králíčky:) dva praskly hned při nafukování, třetí vydržel, jen byl bez uší......

We have  just came back from London, the hometown of Banksy - the most known graffiti painter.
