Oldřicha Kulhínka asi nemusím moc představovat. Ti, kteří používají české bankovky, znají jeho portréty slavných osobností velmi dobře:). Vybrala jsem tuto jeho grafiku, protože už jsem dlouho nefotila všechny své tři děti najednou. Tak tady jsou jejich ruce, Olivera, Vikyho a Natálky.

I suppose all the people who had the Czech banknotes in their hands know Oldřich Kulhánek, their author. I have chosen this  graphics because I wanted all my three kids to be involved together in photo shooting again. So here they are: Oliver, Victor and Natty.:)

Náhodou jsem potkala svou spolužačku z vysoké školy a pozvala ji k nám domů na návštěvu. Vyprávěla jsem jí, co fotím,  a tak přišla s nápadem nafotit tento obraz. Všem třem holkám to moc sluší, mamince Zuzce, dcerce Lucince i Aničce v bříšku:)

I met my classmate from university by chance and invited her to come to our home. I was talking about my photo blog and she chose this painting. All three girls look great, Mum Zuzka, her daughter Lucie and the second one, Anička, in Zuzka's belly:).

Ve Veletržním paláci v pražských Holešovicích se pořádají každý týden výtvarné ateliéry pro děti od dvou let, tak jsme tam dnes vyrazili. Natálka byla nadšená a Viky navíc celý ulepený od lepidla a špinavý od barev. Všechny výtvory jsme přivezlï domů a na některé zvlášť povedené jsme s Natálkou vyráběly z papíru rámečky. A to byl ten moment, kdy jsem si vzpomněla na tento Rothkův obraz a téma na focení bylo jasné:) 

Measuring 2667 X 2388, Red on Maroon is extremely large. "To paint a small picture", Rothko once commented, " is to place yourself outside your experience. However you paint the larger picture, you are in it. It isn't something you command."

Byla neděle, bylo po dešti a já jsem byla doma sama jen se svými syny, uklízela jsem si právě skříň s doplňky na focení, když Viky našel andělská křídla a pobíhal s nimi po bytě. A já jsem to nevydržela a vzala do ruky foťák a pak ještě nafotila pár snímků s Oliverem. Vznikl tak klučičí kvintet.:) 
Třeba se mi někdy sejde doma pět dětí, to bych si to hned zopakovala...Kdo má doma andílky?

It was rainy Sunday morning and I was at home with my two sons. And thanks to them and also Photoshop this angels' kvintet could be made...:}

Našla jsem náhodou na internetu zajímavý blog jednoho malíře, který každý den namaluje jeden obraz: Nel's Everyday Painting! Taky jsem si kdysi myslela, že zvládnu jednu fotografii denně, ale kdo má děti, ví, že ne vždy to jde skloubit s chodem domácnosti a ne vždy se dětem vůbec chce...:)

I found this picture at Nel"s Everyday Painting. This blog belongs to the artist who paints one painting  every day and posts it there... At the beginning of my photoshooting I was thinking about the same, every day one picture, but those who have kids they understand that you can not plan so much ...:}

Tak tato fotografie je vzpomínkou na dobu, kdy Vikymu byly dva měsíce, už je to tak dávno...Sotva držel hlavičku nahoře, takže jsem musela fotit rychle, když jsem uklízela světla, tak se na něj snesla zelená deka, kterou jsem měla jen provizorně přilepenou ke zdi a Viky vyčerpáním z pózování usnul:) 

I liked these two Rothko's quotes:
It is a widely accepted notion among painters that it does not matter what one paints as long as it is well painted. This is the essence of academicism. 
This would be a distortion of their meaning, since the pictures are intimate and intense, and are the opposite of what is decorative; and have been painted in a scale of normal living rather than an institutional scale.

Dnes jsme si s Natálkou zase vypůjčily něco z tatínkovy sbírky hudebních nástrojů. On sám začal v pěti letech hrát na housle, tak uvidíme, jaký nástroj si nakonec Natálka vybere...Když už ale měla dnes v ruce mandolínu, pustily jsme si pár videí s mladičkou hráčkou Sierrou Hull. Paráda :)

Today we borrowed again something from dad's collection of musical instruments. He started to play the violin when he was five, so we will see when and which instrument Natty will finally chose...Today with mandolin in hands we watched couple of videos with young mandolin player Sierra Hull. Amazing!:)

Dneska byl u nás doma hotový cirkus! Zatímco já jsem vyráběla kulisy, děti trénovaly  stoj na míčí...Máme ho doma už dlouho, je to výtečný pomocník při bolesti zad, ale udržet se na něm stát, to je opravdu cirkusový výkon, a tak musel naši akrobatku Natálku raději zezadu držet schovaný tatínek...:)

Circus visited us today! While I was making the scenery, kids were practising standing on the ball, which we found  really  really hard, so my partner was finally helping our little acrobat Natty hidden behind the ball...:) 

Bird on Cage

V této klícce jsme kdysi měli kytky, ale uvadly nám, asi i kytkám vadí klec... 
Po čase jsem si prohlížela tvorbu Fiony Howard, textilní designérky, kterou jsem si našla na EasyArt.com. 
Je jaro, ráno nás budí zpívají ptáčci, ve váze máme narcisky a Natálka se dnes stala priceznou, ochránkyní všech ptáčků:) 

I have recently discovered the beautiful floral-inspired homeware created by Fiona Howard. Fiona is a textile designer who is based in Brighton on the Sussex coast, where she works from her studio overlooking the sea...
It is springtime, singing birds waking us up in the mornings, daffodils in vase and Natty became the guardian of all the birds today.

Natálka dostala úplně úžasnou sukýnku Akari od mé kamarádky a vzhledem k tomu, že je sezóna dětských karnevalů, přemýšleli jsme nad tím, že by mohla jít za baletku, baletní špičky z měho dětství jsem doma  už bohužel nenašla, ale obraz od Degase ano!:)

Skončila Olympiáda a hurá jdeme zase fotit!
Dnes jsme si s Vikym přinesli ma focení plyšáky, které děti nasbíraly za posledních pět let. Celkem šedesát tři! A já jsem měla výčitky z toho, kolik mám doma párů nových bot!:)

WOW! 63 toys collected by my kids during the last five years... Why should I have qualms about the number of my new shoes...?!:)

Discobolus

Viky dneska ráno našel v herní krabici staré Oliverovo frisbee, pobíhal s ním po pokoji, až mě něco napadlo: vytvořily jsme mu s Natálkou z kufříku a šátku  podstavec a postavily ho na něj. Natálka Vikymu názorně ukazovala, jak má stát, a já zkoušela světla a fotila. A tak se z Vikyho dnes stal Diskobolos, v tomto případě spíš Frisbeebolos:)

Viky had no idea what to do with it when he had found the frisbee in the toy box...With Natty's help he has become Discobolus today, well rather call him Frisbeebolus:)

Tito dva andílci ke mně přijeli zdaleka. Bylo to moc příjemné focení, zvládli jsme nafotit celkem čtyři obrazy během dvou hodin a jelikož si děti po celou dobu hrály v dětském pokoji plném hraček, věřím, že se jim focení líbilo tak, jako mně a jejich mamince:)

The mother of these two angels contacted me one month ago when she saw my photos. We made four great pictures with the kids during their two hours visit!:) It seemed kids liked photo shooting, they were playing in Oliver's room while we were preparing the decorations with their mother and cooperating so good like they were the real models:)

Minulý týden jsem byla na výstavě fotografií Elliotta Erwitta v Leica Gallery Prague. Výborné fotografie, které se líbily i Vikymu, hlavně ty, na kterých byli pejsci (Erwitt nafotil kolekci fotek právě s nejlepším přítelem člověka...)  Na jedné fotografii byla humorná scéna v Pradu, kde je houf mužů, koukající na obraz svlečené Maji, a naopak jedna osamělá žena stojící před obrazem Maji oblečené...:))

Last week I saw great Elliott Erwitt's photos in Leica Gallery Prague.  His pics are really cool, even Victor liked them, especially those with the dogs...On one of the photo I saw the Goya's paintings and the idea of photo shooting with Natty was simple done...:)

Nedávno začal nový čínský rok Koně, tak jsem při jednom ze svých posledních úklidů v dětském pokoji našla hned dva a vzpomněla jsem si na Milletův obraz, kde jsou koně, ale vzhledem k tomu, že jsem dostala na Silvestra tuhle úžasnou oranžovou látku od kamarádky, tak jsem nakonec zvolila van Goghovu kopii, která se mi na focení více barevně hodila:) p.s. Zároveň jsem u toho vařila večeři, no a - zjistila jsem, že vaření a focení současně mi moc nejde...:(

Between 1887 and early 1890 van Gogh was at Saint-Paul asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, he strived to have subjects during the cold winter months. Seeking to be reinvigorated artistically, Van Gogh did more than 30 copies of works by some of his favorite artists. About twenty-one of the works were copies after, or inspired by Jean-François Millet. Rather than replicate, Van Gogh sought to translate the subjects and composition through his perspective, color, and technique. Spiritual meaning and emotional comfort were expressed through symbolism and color. His brother Theo van Gogh (art dealer) would call the pieces in the series some of his best work.

Finally I used the yellow cloth I got last month from my friend.When she looked at our sewing machine she said: You would find the way how to use it!:)
 So I did! 
But there is still a chance to sew a summer dress from it...

K minulým Vánocům si Natálka přála panenku, dostala ji a tak si konečně ve svých třech letech hraje na maminku, přebaluje jí (používá Vikyho plenky), krmí ji, zpívá ukolébavky, ukládá ji do kočárku a za naprostého ticha ji kolébá a kontroluje, jestli se neodkopala.., Je to roztomilé podívání, už proto, že jsem doma doposud zakopávala o samé náklaďáky a bagry...:)

Natty finally got a doll that she plays with all the day long. She is feeding her, changing the diapers, singing the lullabies, she is laying her into stroller and checking whether the doll is cold by covering her by blanket...So cute to watch so I decided to make this picture to eternize this period in Natty's life:)

Tak tato fotografie je uz skoro dva roky stará. Zrovna jsme vyráběli pro Natálku větší postýlku na míru, protože nám z té dětské vyrostla. Zatímco partner stříhal matrace a lakoval dřevěné rošty, my jsme si s Náťou hrály na malou pletařku:)

This picture was taken already two years ago in time we decided to make a new bed for our big girl. So when my partner was cutting the mattress and painting the wooden slatted bases we, Natty and me, were playing the game on knitter...:)
