Včera jsem si byla zaběhat u Vltavy a podél stezky byla spousta vlčích máků... A tak jsme dnes z Natálky vytvořili Makovou panenku á la Picasso:)

Yesterday I was running along the Vltava river and all the road was lined by the poppies, so today I did not hesitate to persuade Natty to become Poppy Doll á la Picasso...:)

Tento obraz namaloval Picasso v době, kdy mu bylo 20 let! Na jeho obrazech jsem vyrostla, má maminka, malířka, mi dávala k listování knížky s fotografiemi jeho obrazů místo pohádek před spaním...:)

I know Picasso's paintings very well, all my childhood I used to browse in the books with his paintings before going asleep My mum was giving the art books to me instead of fairytale books...:)

These days Natty likes watching and practing children yoga on TV  so she is inventing new asanas all the time... This could be called: "Flamingo under the tree" :)

V roce 1890 vznikly dvě verze portrétu doktora Gacheta, který se o Vincenta van Gogha staral poslední měsíce jeho života. První verze, kterou jsem pro focení vybrala, je zatím nejdražším obrazem, který se kdy prodal ve veřejné aukci. V roce 1990 za 82,5 milionů dolarů. (!)

Vincent van Gogh's first impression of Gachet was unfavorable. Writing to Theo he remarked: "I think that we must not count on Dr. Gachet at all. First of all, he is sicker than I am, I think, or shall we say just as much, so that's that. Now when one blind man leads another blind man, don't they both fall into the ditch?" However, in a letter dated two days later to their sister Wilhelmina, he relayed, "I have found a true friend in Dr. Gachet, something like another brother, so much do we resemble each other physically and also mentally."

Babička mě poprosila o vyprání jejich záclon a ty se mi náramě hodily na velikánskou sukni se spodničkami:) Dala jsem Nátě do ruky Murphyho zákony, kde jsem našla i zákon pro fotoamatéry: Nejlepší záběry se nabízejí, jakmile vám dojde film či při kterých jste nechali přikrytý objektiv. :)  

My grandma asked me to wash her curtains and as you can see when I saw them I had to use them as a big skirt with petticoat...:)

Byla jsem na tanečním představení mé kamarádky Klárky a přišla domů úplně nadšená. Ranní myšlanka patřila tanci a když už mám jednu malou tanečnici doma, pokusily jsme se o postoj khmerskeho tance od Rodina...Náťa vypadá spíš jako by stopovala letadlo v oblacích, ale snaha, ta se cení!:)

Tak tato fotka vznikla tak, že jsem dnes chtěla nafotit všechny své děti, abych měla novou fotografii na plochu počítače. Díky Wikipaintings jsem našla expresionistu Kirchnera a jeho portrét trojice jedním tahem. To nás na základce naučili jen domeček a prasátko:)

Today I wanted to make the picture of all my kids to have a new photo on my PC screen and  so I found Kirchner's portrait of three in one fell...I remember as a pupil I was taught to draw one fell only house and pig...:)

Dnešní ráno bylo nádherné, šeříky, které jsme si včera donesli do vázy, provoněly celý byt a já jsem si tento pocit chtěla uchovat i na fotografii...:) Jako pozadí jsem použila další z mnoha partnerových obrazů z cest. Ušetřilo mi to čas a já nemusela trávit hodinu s aranžováním pozadí pomocí látek, tak jak tomu povětšinou bývá.  Vznikl tak obraz v obraze:)

I really love this time of the year when lilacs are blooming. Yesterday I brought some home and today in the morning I wanted to keep the feeling I had when all the apartment was fulfilled by their scent...

V poslední době je Viky unešen ptáčky. Je první, kdo slyší jejich zpěv, když se blížíme do lesa, rád se dělí o svou svačinu se všemi holuby v Praze,miluje Zpívanky, protože jejich úvodní znělka je plná papírových ptáčků, a, bohužel pro nás, rodiče, miluje ranní zpěv ptáků...:)

Recently, Viky is blown away by the birds, he is the first who hears them, when we are approaching the park, he likes to share his snack with all the pigeons in Prague and, unfortunately for us, parents, he loves waking up very early to listen to their morning singing...:)

Když už jsou ty Velikonoce, dovolila jsem si použít jednu z coververzí obrazu Bouguereaua. 
Na této fotografii se podílely všechny mé děti, Viktor tím, že pokojně spinkal, a tak nám dal možnost v klidu si připravit věci na focení, Oliver přispěl vlastnoručně vyrobeným králíčkem a Natálka? Ta po skončení focení domalovala všechna zbylá vajíčka a už se těší na koledníky! 


I have got three possible pictures with Easter theme prepared for shooting and Natty had chosen Bouguereau's one (cover version). So I have two left for next years:
Odilon Redon's Egg and Gerorge Saru's The Beautiful Meditation on an Egg.
So it seems I can not stop shooting...At least another two years!:)

Dneska Oliver přišel za školy s nateklým horním rtem. Dostal při florbale hokejkou přímo do pusy, naštěstí zuby zústaly v pořádku...Musela jsem to zdokumentovat a jelikož jsem nedávno fotila jednu  z litografií Oldřicha Kulhánka, vzpomněla jsem si hned na jednu z jeho dalších...

Today Oliver came home with swollen upper lip. He was hit by floorball stick during the match. I wanted to make the picture for memory and as I recently made the pictures inspired by Kulhanek I had his another lithography in my mind to copy...

Včera jsem si četla o kampani Celé Česko čte dětem. Idea je skvělá, a tak jsem ji chtěla podpořit a vybrala tento obraz od Bouguereaua. 
Hlavní myšlenkou kampaně je, aby si společnost uvědomila, jak obrovský význam má pravidelné čtení dítěti pro jeho emociální vývoj a pro formování návyku číst si v dospělosti. Jde o to, aby rodiče denně četli svým dětem, stačí 20 minut. 
"Čtenářem se totiž nikdo nerodí, čtenáři musíme ukázat cestu."

 Yesterday I was reading about the project Every Czech Reads to Kids. I would like to support that idea, that is why I have chosen this Bouguereau's painting. 
"We all want our children to grow up to be good, wise, and happy people. But how to achieve it? Read! Read to kids for every 20 minutes a day. Every day! Nobody is a born reader. We have to show them the way.

Oldřicha Kulhínka asi nemusím moc představovat. Ti, kteří používají české bankovky, znají jeho portréty slavných osobností velmi dobře:). Vybrala jsem tuto jeho grafiku, protože už jsem dlouho nefotila všechny své tři děti najednou. Tak tady jsou jejich ruce, Olivera, Vikyho a Natálky.

I suppose all the people who had the Czech banknotes in their hands know Oldřich Kulhánek, their author. I have chosen this  graphics because I wanted all my three kids to be involved together in photo shooting again. So here they are: Oliver, Victor and Natty.:)

Náhodou jsem potkala svou spolužačku z vysoké školy a pozvala ji k nám domů na návštěvu. Vyprávěla jsem jí, co fotím,  a tak přišla s nápadem nafotit tento obraz. Všem třem holkám to moc sluší, mamince Zuzce, dcerce Lucince i Aničce v bříšku:)

I met my classmate from university by chance and invited her to come to our home. I was talking about my photo blog and she chose this painting. All three girls look great, Mum Zuzka, her daughter Lucie and the second one, Anička, in Zuzka's belly:).

Ve Veletržním paláci v pražských Holešovicích se pořádají každý týden výtvarné ateliéry pro děti od dvou let, tak jsme tam dnes vyrazili. Natálka byla nadšená a Viky navíc celý ulepený od lepidla a špinavý od barev. Všechny výtvory jsme přivezlï domů a na některé zvlášť povedené jsme s Natálkou vyráběly z papíru rámečky. A to byl ten moment, kdy jsem si vzpomněla na tento Rothkův obraz a téma na focení bylo jasné:) 

Measuring 2667 X 2388, Red on Maroon is extremely large. "To paint a small picture", Rothko once commented, " is to place yourself outside your experience. However you paint the larger picture, you are in it. It isn't something you command."

Byla neděle, bylo po dešti a já jsem byla doma sama jen se svými syny, uklízela jsem si právě skříň s doplňky na focení, když Viky našel andělská křídla a pobíhal s nimi po bytě. A já jsem to nevydržela a vzala do ruky foťák a pak ještě nafotila pár snímků s Oliverem. Vznikl tak klučičí kvintet.:) 
Třeba se mi někdy sejde doma pět dětí, to bych si to hned zopakovala...Kdo má doma andílky?

It was rainy Sunday morning and I was at home with my two sons. And thanks to them and also Photoshop this angels' kvintet could be made...:}

Našla jsem náhodou na internetu zajímavý blog jednoho malíře, který každý den namaluje jeden obraz: Nel's Everyday Painting! Taky jsem si kdysi myslela, že zvládnu jednu fotografii denně, ale kdo má děti, ví, že ne vždy to jde skloubit s chodem domácnosti a ne vždy se dětem vůbec chce...:)

I found this picture at Nel"s Everyday Painting. This blog belongs to the artist who paints one painting  every day and posts it there... At the beginning of my photoshooting I was thinking about the same, every day one picture, but those who have kids they understand that you can not plan so much ...:}

Tak tato fotografie je vzpomínkou na dobu, kdy Vikymu byly dva měsíce, už je to tak dávno...Sotva držel hlavičku nahoře, takže jsem musela fotit rychle, když jsem uklízela světla, tak se na něj snesla zelená deka, kterou jsem měla jen provizorně přilepenou ke zdi a Viky vyčerpáním z pózování usnul:) 

I liked these two Rothko's quotes:
It is a widely accepted notion among painters that it does not matter what one paints as long as it is well painted. This is the essence of academicism. 
This would be a distortion of their meaning, since the pictures are intimate and intense, and are the opposite of what is decorative; and have been painted in a scale of normal living rather than an institutional scale.

Dnes jsme si s Natálkou zase vypůjčily něco z tatínkovy sbírky hudebních nástrojů. On sám začal v pěti letech hrát na housle, tak uvidíme, jaký nástroj si nakonec Natálka vybere...Když už ale měla dnes v ruce mandolínu, pustily jsme si pár videí s mladičkou hráčkou Sierrou Hull. Paráda :)

Today we borrowed again something from dad's collection of musical instruments. He started to play the violin when he was five, so we will see when and which instrument Natty will finally chose...Today with mandolin in hands we watched couple of videos with young mandolin player Sierra Hull. Amazing!:)

Dneska byl u nás doma hotový cirkus! Zatímco já jsem vyráběla kulisy, děti trénovaly  stoj na míčí...Máme ho doma už dlouho, je to výtečný pomocník při bolesti zad, ale udržet se na něm stát, to je opravdu cirkusový výkon, a tak musel naši akrobatku Natálku raději zezadu držet schovaný tatínek...:)

Circus visited us today! While I was making the scenery, kids were practising standing on the ball, which we found  really  really hard, so my partner was finally helping our little acrobat Natty hidden behind the ball...:)
