Nedávno jsme se vrátili z Barcelony, kde jsme samozřejmě navštívili i Muzeum Picassa. Jako upomínku na něj jsem vybrala jeden jeho méně známý obraz. V roce 2010 byl spolu s dalšími 270ti neznámými picassovými skicami  nalezen v domě sedmdesátiletého důchodce Pierra Le Guenneca, který tvrdil, že je od Picassa dostal darem. Picassův syn tvrdí, že je ukradl....Důležité je zmínit, že celková cena nalezených děl má hodnotu více než 50 milionů liber!

 I have chosen this Picasso's work as a remembrance of the Museu Picasso we visited last week in Barcelona. This painting was one of 271 unknown works by Picasso that have been found in 2010.  It is perhaps why the French police arrested the 71-year-old Pierre Le Quennec when they discovered the cache of sketches and painting worth 50 millions pounds at his Riviera home. Mr Quennec claimed that he was given the collection by the artist when he carried out odd jobs for him at his Cote d'Azur home for 40 years ago. However, Picasso'son,Claude, suspected that the works were stolen....In the meantime the pieces are goldmine for Picasso experts. "Above all what counts is to retrieve a collection which is of historic importance for art history,' said a lawyer for the artist's family.

Jef Aérosol is the pseudonym of Jean-François Perroy, a French stencil graffiti artist. He has been an urban art proponent in France since 1982, and is a contemporary of Blek le Rat and Speedy Graphito.Naučit Olivera stát na jedne ruce, to byl opravdu oříšek!

Perroy was born in Nantes. He spray painted his first stencil in 1982, in Tours, and has been living in Lille since 1984. He has left his works on the walls of many cities in Western Europe and the United States, as well as Beijing, Tokyo, Buenos Aires and Reunion Island.

Na Pinterestu jsem našla obraz této umělkyně (domnívám se, že se jedná o ženu, alespoň mi to tak přijde, když jsem viděla její obrazy...), jejíž jméno se mi nepodařilo vyhledat, podepisuje se v hebrejštině...Vím o ní jen, že miluje abstraktní umění, jejím favoritem je Vasilij Kandinskij a inspiraci hledá u Picassa. Nemá ráda štětce a raději používá špachtli, se kterou nanáší velké množství akrylové barvy přímo na plátno. 

I found this painting on Pinterest and I could not trace the name of the author. She (I suppose it is woman because of her paintings I saw...) signs her canvas in hebrew and she offers only few info about her: she adores Wassily Kandinsky and Picasso, uses acrylic colors and prefers painting knife than brushes...

Next time I give a flute to my son I should warn all the neighbours to use the earplugs...:)

Když byla Natálka menší, vypadala jakoby vystoupila z Boterových obrazů...Dnes už zdaleka tak nevypadá, ale i přesto jsme s ní nedávno nafotili tuto akrobatku. K čelence s pírkem jsem ji vůbec nemusela přemlouvat, stala se totiž velkou fanynkou filmů s Vinnetouem..:)

I am a living artist who has been in 60 museum shows. I have more respect for a museum director, I promise you, than a boy who comes out of art school, sets up as critic and uses me as a punching bag.'.

Do Prahy přijela na návštěvu z daleké ciziny má kamarádka Dia se svým druhorozeným čtyřměsíčním synem Davidem. Tak i když to nebylo zcela v plánu, neodolala jsem a nafotila jsem ji jako Madonu. Mimochodem, s Diou jsme byli spolužačky na vysoké a následně - i díky ní - kolegyně v práci...Kdoví, kdy nás život zase spojí dohromady...Bylo to moc příjemné setkání i focení!:)
She was the prettiest girl at the University we studied together, and the most beautiful woman in our working company...Now she is living abroad with her husband and two sons so it was very nice to see her again after those years and luckily we had time for chat and also for photoshooting...:)

Minulý týden jsem si koupila tento velikanánský pestrobarevný šátek, počasí mi přeje, je nádherně větrno a sychravo, a tak si ho každé ráno ovážu kolem krku. Jak se říká v reklamě: "Co dokíže čaj!" bych poopravila na: "Co dokážou barvy!" :)

Last week I bought this big colorful scarf. The weather is perfect these days, it is windy and damp, so every morning I tie the scarf around my neck and I feel fine. This is magic what colors make with humans feelings, isn't it? :)

Praha je plná plakátů, které zvou na výstavu pop art ikony Andyho Warhola.  Konečně! Nedalo mi to, tak jsme si s Oliverem dneska nafotili vlastní verzi, vždyť jméno Oliver jsme mu dali právě proto, aby byl vždy O.K.:) 

A new exhibition of Andy Warhol, called I'm OK, will be opened till December 31st. Prague is full of advertising posters and when I saw them I looked at Oliver and here is our today morning version. I have to say we gave Oliver his name also because we wanted him to have the initials O.K., so he can always say: I'm OK!:)

Dostala se mi do rukou úžasná kniha od E. H. Gombricha, Příběh umění, je to dost obsáhlá kniha, a tak jsem v ní zprvu začala jen listovat a našla Brancusiho. V posledni době si ráda čtu citáty umělců, které si pro focení vybírám, tak tady je jeden od Brancusiho, který se mi obzvlášť líbí: 

"Někteří imbecilové tvrdí, že tvořím abstraktní díla. To, co nazývají abstrakcí je ovšem co nejvíce realistické, protože to skutečné není to, co je vidět, ale představa, podstata věcí. "

I got a wonderful book about Art written by E.H. Gombrich. Yesterday I was browsing the book and found this Brancusi's Kiss. I found also some of his quotes I like: 

"There are imbeciles who call my work abstract. That which they call abstract is the most realistic, because what is real is not the exterior but the idea, the essence of things."

"There has not been any art yet. Art is just beginning."

Tak tato fotka je stará přesně dva roky. Vikymu byly dva týdny a byl tak maličký, že mě napadlo, nafotit ho v ruličce z ubrousku...:) 

This photo was taken already two years ago...My little boy was one week old and was so small that he could be rolled up in cloth napkins...:)

I read several Braque's quotes about art, I like this one the most:: With age, art and life become one.

Tyto dny jsou přímo tropické, a tak jsme dnes ráno balili věci k bazénu a mimo jiné jsme se rozhodli vzít s sebou i tento surf. No nevypadá skoro jako ten od Maleviche?:)

These days are really sunny so when we were packing the things for swimming today morning I found this surf. It looks almost like the Malevich's one, isn't it?:)

Jsou prázdniny, takže nejsme skoro doma, a když už jsme, buď vybalujeme nebo zase balíme věci na další cestu...To je znát i na frekvenci našich focení, ale dneska ráno jsme byli celé dopoledne doma, tak proč toho nevyužít...Nejdřív jsem vyfotila Náťu, a když už jsem sklízela věci, tak začal Viky křičet: "Já takyyyyyy!" a soukat se do oblečku...Nakonec to byla skoro Sofiina volba, nevěděla jsem, kterou fotografii na blog vybrat, a tak jsem nakonec dala obě dvě.:) 

During summer holidays we are not so often at home and if so, we are packing or unpacking our suitcases...Luckily today morning we had time for shooting, I have chosen Natty but Viky was screaming: "Me too, me too!" so I had to make the pictures of him as well. Finally I could not chose which one is better...so I put here both of them:)

Před měsícem k nám přijel můj bratr s přítelkyní na návštěvu a jelikož pokaždé, když k nám z ciziny dorazí, dojde i na focení, tak ani neprotestovali, když jsem jim dala za úkol, zatímco uspím děti, aby našli nějaké zajímavě dílo, které by se jim chtělo nafotit. Vybrali si Man Raye a měli štěstí, že mám doma barvy na tělo....A jak ten život přináší s sebou překvapení: předevčírem jsme jeli na návštěvu k babičce a ta se nám pochlubila touto zbrusu novou - nalezenou africkou maskou! Hned jsem si ji přivezla domů a dneska ráno jsme ji s Natálkou použily...:)

Man Ray's photo was chosen by my brother and his girlfriend. Always when they come to visit me (they both live abroad) we do some pictures together...They were lucky I had the body painting colors at home...And what happened one month later? We came to see our grandmother and she was showing us what she had found that day:  African ceremonial mask! So the day after we used this mask with my daughter Natty:)

Minule jsem na blog dala kopii obrazu Thayerových dětí a psala o jeho známých obrazech andělů a dneska ráno mi to nedalo, a tak jsme s Natálkou jednoho z nich nafotily. Nejdříve jsme chtěly použít křídla, která máme doma, ale nebyla dostatečně veliká, a tak mě napadla vata, které máme dva balíky jako pozůstatek po minulých foceních...Nutno dodat, že jsem Natálce vůbec nepomáhala, takže andělská vatová křídla jsou jen a jen její práce:)

I really like when my kids are participating in making pictures, for example today, the author of the angels wings, made of  cotton:), is exclusively Natty!:)

Asi většina z nás zná Thayerovy obrazy andělů, já jsem si ale vybrala záměrně jiný z jeho obrazů, takový, abych mohla mít společný portrét Natálky s Oliverem...:)

Thayer is sometimes referred to as the "father of camouflage"He first became involved in military camouflage in 1898, during the Spanish-American War, when he and his friend George de Forest Brush proposed the use of protective coloration on American ships, using countershading.The two artists did obtain a patent for their idea in 1902, titled "Process of Treating the Outsides of Ships, etc., for Making Them Less Visible", in which their method is described as having been modeled on the coloration of a seagull.

Thayer and Brush’s experiments with camouflage continued into World War I, both collaboratively and separately. Early during that war, for example, Brush developed a transparent airplane, while Thayer continued his interest in disruptive or high-difference camouflage, which was not unlike what British ship camouflage designer Norman Wilkinson would call dazzle camouflage (a term that may have been inspired by Thayer's writings, which referred to disruptive patterns in nature as "razzle dazzle".)

Tento obraz jsem měla připravený k tomu, až k nám přijde kamarádka Natálky, ale včera navečer byla bouřka, a tak jsem s dětmi nemohla jít ven, najednou mě chytnul absťák, že už jsem dlouho  (asi dva dny:)) nic nenafotila, a tak jsem z Vikyho udělala holčičku. Snad mi, až bude dospělý, toto promine...:)

I know, there should be two girls instead of one.... I had already prepared this Schiele's picture for shooting, expecting Natty's friend visit, but she could not come, so...I hope Viktor will forgive me this one day...:)

Today I have intentionally chosen more pictures to show that most of the times I have to do more shots to capture as closely as possible the facial expressions on the paintings...

Včera jsem brouzdala na internetu a našla jsem toto dílo od amerického umělce, který byl představitelem Minimalistického hnutí v 70. letech minulého století. Připomnělo mi to fotku z  dvojfocení mých kamarádek..., a tak mohu prozradit i jména miminek, vlevo: Maruška a vpravo: Teo!:) 

As I know the models, I can reveal also the names of the kids inside: Maruska on the left and Theo on the right!:)

Včera jsem si byla zaběhat u Vltavy a podél stezky byla spousta vlčích máků... A tak jsme dnes z Natálky vytvořili Makovou panenku á la Picasso:)

Yesterday I was running along the Vltava river and all the road was lined by the poppies, so today I did not hesitate to persuade Natty to become Poppy Doll á la Picasso...:)

Tento obraz namaloval Picasso v době, kdy mu bylo 20 let! Na jeho obrazech jsem vyrostla, má maminka, malířka, mi dávala k listování knížky s fotografiemi jeho obrazů místo pohádek před spaním...:)

I know Picasso's paintings very well, all my childhood I used to browse in the books with his paintings before going asleep My mum was giving the art books to me instead of fairytale books...:)
